About me

I have been working in the clinical realm for the better part of a decade. My experience ranges from inpatient substance use treatment, community mental health case management, and therapy on the individual and group level. I have wanted to be a therapist ever since I took my first Psychology class in high school, where I fell in love with studying behavior. It was then that I also fell into a cycle of drug and alcohol addiction that lasted on and off for 5 years. My use brought consequences to both me and my loved ones. I knew I needed to stop, but I did not know how to.

Recovery wasn’t possible without a willingness to admit I had a problem and ask for help. I surrendered the solution of substances and found a life worth living without them through helping others the same way I was helped.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to help people at any stage of their recovery journey. One of the great gifts of my work is not only seeing my clients heal, but also watching all their loved ones heal as a result of their work. I understand how hard it is to take that first step and ask for help, and I would be honored to help you discover a meaningful life for yourself.
