About me

I have been working in the clinical realm for the better part of a decade. My experience ranges from inpatient substance use treatment, community mental health case management, and therapy on the individual and group level. I have wanted to be a therapist ever since I took my first Psychology class in high school, where I fell in love with studying behavior. It was then that I also fell into a cycle of drug and alcohol addiction that lasted on and off for 5 years. My use brought consequences to both my loved ones and me. I knew I needed to stop, but I did not know how to.

Recovery began when I admitted I had a problem and surrendered substance use as my solution. I asked for help, faced the parts of myself I had been trying to escape, and discovered my values. In doing so, I built a life worth living—free from drugs and alcohol.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to help people at any stage of their recovery journey. One of the great gifts of my work is not only seeing my clients heal, but also watching all their loved ones heal as a result of their work. I understand how hard it is to take that first step and ask for help, and I would be honored to help you discover a meaningful life for yourself.
